Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Revenue Analyst is responsible for identifying and maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for the Unfurnished segment of the portfolio.

This is a remote position.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Alongside community Operating teams, analyze, identify, communicate and execute on revenue decisions, considering weekly/monthly supply and demand forecasts, competitive price intelligence and a comprehensive understanding of market conditions to maximize revenue opportunities for both new leases and renewals.  
    • Monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies, and data; maintain understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and present appropriate action plans to management
    • Effectively use the AI Revenue Management Platform to manage day to day price execution.
    • Conduct daily review of rate recommendations
    • Incorporate market data to assess trends, inventory and maximize revenue
    • Actively manage lease expirations through differentiated pricing structures and concessions
    • Critically evaluate unit-level amenities and base rent adjustments.
    • Lead weekly strategy and pricing calls, conduct periodic performance reviews and develop/inform centralized reporting tools/dashboards for key metrics and initiatives.
    • Identify internal and external risk factors and develop a strategy to mitigate risk.
    • Provide context on performance drivers – communicate beyond the metrics, explaining factors and decisions that had an impact on historical results so that these insights can inform future decisions
    • Be a resource and thought partner to Operations, Training and Marketing team leaders. Host recurring calls/meetings with cross-department partners to address pricing questions.


    Skills and Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years in a growing service-based organization, with 2+ years of direct Revenue Management experience strongly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of multifamily pricing. Experience with a multifamily revenue management system preferred (LRO, RENTmaximizer, YieldStar, AIRM)
    • Experience with a property management software system preferred (Entrata, OneSite, Yardi)
    • Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Analytical background and ability to learn new systems quickly
    • Exercise excellent communication and listening skills
    • Passion, positivity, and an ability to flex with a growing organization
    • Excellent interpersonal skills represent an advantage
    • Must possess strong attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively communicate in an upbeat way to maximize partner opportunities
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Time management skills
    • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems with urgency
    • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Analytics or Real Estate preferred
